This coffee comes from the prestigious Yirgacheffe region in southwest Ethiopia, known for its quality coffee due to its ideal conditions - tropical climate, fertile soil and high altitude. The coffee cherries ripen more slowly here, ensuring a fuller flavour.
Processing takes place at the Adorsi station, which serves more than 800 farmers. After harvesting, the cherries are cleaned, fermented for 36-48 hours, washed and dried on African beds under shade nets. The coffee is stored in parchment and cleaned before export.
Testi Coffee is a family-owned company founded in 2009 by Faysel Abdosh. Today it owns more than 20 processing stations in the Sidama, Guji and Yirgacheffe region.
