I love this coffee

Santos is my favorite coffee. It’s smooth with a delicious hint of flavor. I use it in a French press, freshly ground. I buy a 1-kilogram package regularly. I’ve also tried other Arabica beans from this roaster, but this one suits my taste the best right now.

We've had a new lever espresso machine since January. I'm still learning and fine-tuning things. But the freshly roasted Brazilian coffee is in a whole different league compared to the supermarket brands.

It might be a good place to start your coffee journey, but don't expect too much. To my taste, it has no distinctive flavor—just a plain coffee taste that's closer to supermarket coffee. I've tried it with a paper filter (in a drip coffee maker). It was OK, but it had no distinctive aroma. I’ve also tried the Cuban blend, and it was by far a better coffee.

The vast majority of the packages I’ve ordered contain fresh coffee that froths beautifully and has a wonderful aroma. I grind it finely in a separate electric grinder and brew the coffee on a Gaggia Baby. I always make two espressos in a two-shot cup. *****
