The tea got its name Rhino after its colour resembling a unicorn. Tea trees grow around Mt. Kenya at an altitude of 2400 meters above sea level. Production is limited to only 100 kg per year. The leaves are regular and long with many golden tips that give the infusion a golden colour. The infusion is slightly red.
Taste: honey, caramel, hazelnuts
Origin: Mt. Kenya region, Kenya
Weight: 50 grams
Preparation of tea: It is up to each of you to find your own length of steeping (extraction) so that you like the taste of the tea. We recommend preparing the teas at about 5g for more infusion (6-8) in a smaller volume of 100-200ml with a shorter extraction time, where you can start for example at 20s-40s and finish within a few minutes. You can choose the water temperature for the first pour around 80C, the second 90C and the next gradually towards 100C. Be careful that the tea is not bitter = over infused.
Tea can also be prepared for 1 infusion in a pot, for example 0.5 l, 5-7 g, 100C, 5-8 min.
