Kenyan coffee is prized around the world for its complex flavour that is full-bodied, clean and sweet, often with notes of currant and forest fruits. Karie Coffee Factory is based in Nyeri, in the heart of Kenya, one of the most prolific coffee growing regions in the world. It lies on the plains of rich red volcanic soil between the Mount Kenya Forest Reserve and the Aberdare Mountains, not far from Nairobi. It was established in 1995 and has since helped about 700 farmers process their crops.
