Bialetti
The Bialetti Moka Induction is a combination of a classic aluminium moka express and a stainless steel base that makes it suitable for all types of cookers, including induction!
Aluminum moka pots are especially popular because over time the interior becomes coated with a patina and the teapot retains a pleasant taste and aroma. The resulting coffee is absolutely perfect.
If you are wondering who is behind the "little man with a moustache" you see on every model, it is the likeness of Alfonso Bialetti, who invented the moka pot in 1933. He simply wanted to differentiate his products, so why not his character :-)
Thebottom container of the Bialetti Moka Induction is made of polished stainless steel. The top container is made of food grade aluminium. The comfortable handle is made of heat-resistant plastic. It is the high-quality, robust yet simple construction that makes bialettes so popular worldwide.
For more information on making strong coffee with a moka pot, please see our section Coffee preparation - moka pots.
Suitable for: 4 cups
Colour: red/grey
Material: aluminium, stainless steel 18/10, plastic
Suitable for gas, ceramic, electric and induction hobs. However, please check first that your induction hob works for pots with this bottom diameter(10 cm). Some induction hobs only need larger diameter pots and then do not work for smaller diameter pots!

I ordered this coffee maker because I love drinking traditionally brewed coffee. I prefer drinking freshly ground coffee. This Bialetti Moka lets me enjoy the aroma of the coffee.
The coffee pot caught my eye right away because of its design. This is my second one. The first one held 6 cups—perfect when the two of us have coffee together—and if it’s just for me, it’s the ideal size for 3 cups. A red coffee pot for the girls.
Even if I close the cap tightly in a clockwise direction, sometimes a little coffee starts to leak out around the seal. This defect certainly isn't ideal.
I bought it at the store. I took their advice and, instead of the two-cup pot I’d originally planned to buy, I got a four-cup one. I don’t regret it. Making coffee is a wonderful “ritual,” and knowing that I put a little effort into it really enhances the flavor. I also bought the coffee at the store based on a recommendation, and I have to admit that it’s truly an experience. I used to drink “kafe,” but from now on, it’s “coffee.” I definitely recommend it.
