Flavor Profile

The flavor gradually unfolds with notes of papaya, lime, and sweet blackberry. The cup feels full-bodied, fruity, and fresh all at once, while subtle fermentation notes lend the entire coffee vibrancy and originality.

Origin and Processing

The beans come from the Kasese region in western Uganda, where the quality of Arabica is elevated thanks to unique conditions and meticulous processing. The coffee is produced at the Mubuku station, located between Queen Elizabeth and Rwenzori National Parks in a warmer, drier climate.

After harvest, the coffee cherries are washed, hand-sorted, and then fermented in sealed containers without oxygen for 40 hours. They are then dried on African drying beds for several days, which gives the final profile body and pronounced fruitiness.
