Coffee cup size

ESPRESSO cups usually have a capacity of 60-90 ml, but you will also come across larger ones. Their aim is to enhance flavour and aroma, so they often have a narrow base and widen towards the top.

CAPPUCCINO cups are best enjoyed in a cup with roughly twice the volume of those for espresso. Again, the cup expands, in this case quite considerably, to bring out the milk foam.

A cup without a saucer would be incomplete, and you certainly don't want a half-hearted experience of good coffee.
