Thetraditional Kalabasapot is made by hollowing out a gourd plant, known here as kalabasa or Indian cucumber.
Drinking through a Kalabasa adds to the unusual atmosphere, but of course they are also popular for their functional qualities - easy to make, the drink doesn't burn your hands, the kalabasa doesn't leak, is lightweight and keeps the drink warm.
The classic shape, the original pattern reminiscent of leopard spots and the metallic silver rim make the gourd a versatile and pretty maté drinking vessel.
Material: gourd, metal
Width: approx. 10cm
Height: approx. 11.5cm
Hole: approx. 4cm
Capacity: 200 - 350ml
Country of origin: Argentina
Each gourd is unique in its natural origin, which means it may differ from the one shown in the picture. The container is dyed naturally, so we recommend that you do not place it directly on the tablecloth at the beginning of use, it may stain.
